Accessibility

findlio is committed to making its product guides usable by everyone, regardless of how they access the web.

Our approach

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice, that means:

  • Semantic HTML — headings, lists, and landmarks are used correctly so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
  • Sufficient colour contrast — text and interactive elements meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds.
  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (links, buttons, the newsletter form) are reachable and operable by keyboard.
  • Alt text — product images carry descriptive alt attributes. Decorative images use empty alt tags so they are skipped by assistive technology.
  • Focus indicators — visible focus rings are not suppressed globally; they remain visible for keyboard users.
  • No time limits — no timed content or auto-playing media is present on the site.

Known limitations

findlio is a one-editor site under active development. Some areas may not yet meet every WCAG criterion. Known gaps will be noted here as they are identified and resolved.

Currently no significant known accessibility barriers have been identified. If you encounter one, we want to know about it (see below).

Third-party content

Google AdSense advertising units and Amazon product pages are operated by third parties. We do not control their accessibility conformance. If you encounter barriers on those platforms, please contact those organisations directly.

Report an issue

If you cannot access any part of findlio or encounter an accessibility barrier, email us at cad.bendy.bu@gmail.com. Please describe:

  • The page or feature where you encountered the issue
  • What you were trying to do
  • The assistive technology or browser you are using (if relevant)

We will acknowledge your report within 5 business days and aim to resolve or provide a workaround within 30 days.
